Project Description:

A major refurbishment of the existing YHA building and the construction of a new building on an adjoining site blended the old with the new to create a stylish modern facility.

The 235 bed hostel provided twin/double/family and multi-share air-conditioned accommodation. Some rooms included ensuites. A manager’s unit, reception, travel agency, TV room and internet café were also housed on site. The safety of guests was particularly important to our client so electronic swipe cards were provided for access to all areas of the building and closed circuit cameras to monitor activity in the common areas.

Resort style recreation facilities included an outdoor entertainment and games area, two spas and new in ground swimming pool.
