Project Description:

The design approach philosophy was to create an environment which reflects the emerging elegant, sophisticated Gold Coast lifestyle, while addressing the needs and responsibility to its neighbours through sensitive location, scale and streetscape as well as responding to the wider community.

This development with absolute beach frontage will have 14 apartments. The majority of apartments are single level units however a two level beach house was designed on the ground floor and penthouse levels.

The apartments were designed so that the majority of habitable rooms enjoy views to the beach & ocean beyond. Three carpark spaces were provided for each apartment. The two level basement, connected by a car lift to minimize ground level hardstand, provided maximum landscape and recreation areas.

The architecture was conceived as contemporary in style with clean lines & forms. Both high technology & natural materials have been utilized to afford diversity in colour, luster & texture.

The building form was designed to sustain interest & reduce building bulk. Higher than normal floor to floor heights and open plan design living areas with generous eastern balconies complement the Gold Coast’s subtropical lifestyle. Glazing elements allow clear sight lines to views as well as allow natural light and cross ventilation internally.

A two storey internal recreation facility was designed and comprises amenities, sauna & gym. The oceanside location was reinforced with the use of the water features at the building entry & the recreation area. Two swimming pools were provided at ground level and another on the roof.
