Great Western Super Centre

The Great Western Super Centre is a master planned 19,000m2 neighbourhood shopping center. The client?s brief was to create a centre to serve the local community providing the opportunity for purchasing goods and services in any or all of 7 areas, these being medical, retail, bulky goods, automotive, entertainment, dining and commercial services. Seven distinct precincts were created linked by pedestrian walkway and convenient carparking areas creating a unique and integrated neighbourhood center.

With the environment in mind, carparking sails are supporting P.V panels, generating electricity which is used in the centre. Ground water is harvested and utilized for irrigation and toilet flushing.

With the first two stages complete, the center has seen an outstanding trading success with the third stage under development and further expansion opportunities being assessed.
